QUALITY POLICY
It is planned to define the unit quality policy in accordance with the quality policy of our University. “To be a pioneering and exemplary university focused on practice.” Setting out with the vision of Tomarza Vocational School, the principles will be planned as follows:
1) It equips its students with the necessary knowledge, skills and experiences in the rapidly changing world.
2) It aims to develop an academic community of dedicated academics who collaborate and share with industry and are committed to being inclusive.
3) It attaches importance to developing relations with national and international educational, research and cultural institutions without neglecting the region where it is located.
Tomarza Vocational School plans to implement the following basic policies:
a. Quality in Education and Training: Our vocational school, in all its academic units; will be based on national and international quality levels in the creation of the curriculum, the preparation of the course contents and the teaching of the courses. Thus, the graduates of our college, with the knowledge and skills to be gained, will become technical personnel sought not only at the national level but also on an international scale. As a requirement of this policy, it will be tried to provide students with theoretical knowledge and modern application laboratory opportunities required by technological developments. For this reason, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure that all components (such as instructors, course design, course tools and materials, library, application environments) required by a strong education are fully provided.
b. University-Industry Cooperation: Our vocational school aims to increase cooperation and carry out joint projects for the Map, Architecture and Construction sectors in Tomarza district and Kayseri province in order to support regional development. In this way, it is determined to continuously contribute to finding solutions to the problems of the business world by sharing its academic knowledge and experience with appropriate and priority sectors.
c. Research and Publication: Our vocational school aims to gain a researcher identity. In this context, at the end of the next 10 years, it aims to become a college known for its research and publications. As a requirement of this policy, faculty members will be encouraged to use the BAP research support system and to publish national/international articles.
d. Students' Self-Development: Our college will ensure that students are aware of their own abilities and equipped with opportunities to develop them. In line with this policy, students' efforts to keep student club activities in the fields of culture and sports alive will be supported.
e. Social Responsibility: He sincerely believes that he has to show interest in the problems of the society he is in, research and develop solutions. For this reason, our Vocational School is determined to conduct research and practice in areas that are considered important and priority, in close cooperation with the community managers of public and private institutions.
f. Protection and Development of the Environment: With the awareness of creating a sustainable future, our vocational school will consider the protection, afforestation and development of the environment as a priority in every activity and students will be encouraged in this direction.
g. Introduction: It is planned to increase the degree of recognition of our vocational school at the national and international level. For this reason, its presence in the local, national and international media through various activities and studies will strive to increase the awareness and recognition of the university. In order to achieve these goals, it will continue to work in responsibility and cooperation with all academic and administrative staff.
