PROGRAM
History
Tomarza Mustafa Akıncıoğlu Vocational School was established in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of the Law No. 2547 dated 30/11/2011, as amended by Law No. 2880.
Under the Construction Department opened within Tomarza Mustafa Akıncıoğlu Vocational School, there are the Building Inspection Program and the Construction Technology Program.
Building Inspection Program started education by accepting its first students as of the 2013-2014 academic year, and Construction Technology Program as of the 2016-2017 academic year.

Program Content
In the Construction Technology Program, which has a training period of 2 years, vocational courses include Reinforced Concrete, Statics, Strength, Building Materials, Concrete Technology, Building Technology, Technical Drawing, Building Quantity and Cost, Soil Mechanics, Building Repair and Reinforcement, Project Study and Application, Hydraulics. and Hydrology, Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Drawing (Autocad), as well as general knowledge courses. Professional development, social and cultural development are supported with elective courses included in the curriculum. Students do their internship at the end of the semester within public institutions and organizations and the private sector deemed appropriate by the internship commission. Students take basic English courses in the 1st and 2nd semesters. Students are trained as individuals who have acquired basic knowledge and skills about construction and contemporary building techniques, have basic knowledge of professional practices, and have the knowledge and physical competence to fulfill the assigned task at any time and under any condition.
Graduate Employment Opportunities
Graduates; They work as Construction Technicians in public institutions and organizations and in the private sector. They work in engineering-architecture offices, construction companies and building inspection firms, as well as other institutions and organizations in the construction sector and in relevant units in the private sector. They can be appointed as Construction Technicians according to the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS).
Transition to the Upper Level
Students who graduate from our program can apply to ÖSYM and, if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam, make a vertical transfer to the Civil Engineering and Architecture departments and receive undergraduate education.
